Luxembourg Botanical Solid Perfume

JASMINE: We use common jasmine in our formula which allows the perfume to not be over cumbered by heavy florals, and instead have hints of jasmine throughout the heart accord.

NEROLI: Orange blossom opens the perfume, giving it depth and adding balance to the sweet florals while also helping to mellow out the formula.

VANILLA: Sweet vanilla lingers on the skin in the drydown and is lightly detectable throughout the evolution of the perfume.

The Luxembourg (pronounced LOOKS-ehm-boor) palace and gardens in Paris were erected by the widowed queen Marie de Medici in the 1600’s and today honor the many famous writers, educators, queens, women, and other notable figures through sculptures, art, and other signifiers. Although the palace hosts the French senate today, we wanted to formulate a scent that captured the floral scents of the plants that grow there as well as pay tribute to the women and queens that the gardens cherish.

By reminiscing on our own experiences in the Luxembourg gardens, we designed a complex scent using plant-based essential oils that includes Moroccan neroli, Indian jasmine, and Madagascar vanilla to define the rose gardens of Marie de Medici, the parterres of pink and red flowers, and the grand collection of glasshouse orchids.

The Luxembourg botanical solid perfume is made with pure, natural jojoba oil and beeswax as well as a complex blend of plant-based essential oils that includes Moroccan neroli, Indian jasmine, and Madagascar vanilla. Each perfume is individually crafted and hand poured so you get the strongest and freshest sensations possible.

All of our botanical perfumes, regardless of their format, are meticulously crafted exclusively from natural ingredients. As a result, they exhibit a distinct difference from the customary endurance of synthetic perfumes. Rather than filling the surrounding space with their aroma, our perfumes are designed to envelop and enhance the essence of the wearer and those in close proximity. Their longevity, spanning approximately 2 to 6 hours (sometimes more), is subject to an individual's unique body chemistry—although we commit ourselves to a minimum of 3 hours for a perfume formula, from the initial fragrance unveiling to the lingering traces of base notes on the skin.

In a departure from conventional perfumery, our creations are artfully constructed to undergo a metamorphosis over time. Unlike traditional fragrances that maintain a static olfactory profile, our perfumes evolve and transform, much like the gardens from which we’ve drawn inspiration. This transformative quality imparts a heightened sense of intrigue and complexity, offering the wearer an interesting journey of discovery with every application. Usage: For best scent application, use the edge of your fingernail to scrape up a portion of solid perfume. Liberally apply at pressure points (wrists, neck, behind ears, inside elbows, etc.), or wherever you wear fragrance. Reapply as desired throughout the day.
