LINDEN BLOSSOM: A heady, intensely sweet floral note suffused with the aromas of sun-warmed honey and fruity herbal tea.

Situated along the Côte d’Azur lies the Villa Ephrussi (pronounced eh-froo-SEE) - a small Italian-inspired palazzo envisioned in soft pink from the “belle époque.” Aside from the beautiful architecture, it is also known for its astounding landscapes. Nine themed gardens combine to create a grand exploration of plants, Mediterranean views, sculptures, architecture, and a choreography of moving water. Flowers abound in shades of blush, tropical pink, ruby reds, and fuchsia - a starting point for us to create a light, sweet and heady summer fragrance.

By placing ourselves in the varied gardens of Ephrussi, we designed a complex scent using plant-based essential oils that includes Indian davana, Nicaraguan palo santo berry, and Bulgarian linden blossom to capture the fruity tropical smells of Mediterranean flora, the bright and subtle color palettes that abound, and the spiciness of life on the Côte d’Azur.

The Ephrussi botanical solid perfume is made with pure, natural jojoba oil and beeswax as well as a complex blend of plant-based essential oils that includes Indian davana, Nicaraguan palo santo berry, and Bulgarian linden blossom. Each perfume is individually crafted and hand poured so you get the strongest and freshest sensations possible.

All of our botanical perfumes, regardless of their format, are meticulously crafted exclusively from natural ingredients. As a result, they exhibit a distinct difference from the customary endurance of synthetic perfumes. Rather than filling the surrounding space with their aroma, our perfumes are designed to envelop and enhance the essence of the wearer and those in close proximity. Their longevity, spanning approximately 2 to 6 hours (sometimes more), is subject to an individual's unique body chemistry—although we commit ourselves to a minimum of 3 hours for a perfume formula, from the initial fragrance unveiling to the lingering traces of base notes on the skin.

In a departure from conventional perfumery, our creations are artfully constructed to undergo a metamorphosis over time. Unlike traditional fragrances that maintain a static olfactory profile, our perfumes evolve and transform, much like the gardens from which we’ve drawn inspiration. This transformative quality imparts a heightened sense of intrigue and complexity, offering the wearer an interesting journey of discovery with every application. Usage: For best scent application, use the edge of your fingernail to scrape up a portion of solid perfume. Liberally apply at pressure points (wrists, neck, behind ears, inside elbows, etc.), or wherever you wear fragrance. Reapply as desired throughout the day.
