FLOUVE: A persistent base note with tonka bean vibes and gingerbread like spice that carries the florals to new heights.
IRIS: Ground from the roots of Iris pallida, this powdery floral note is detectable throughout the entire evolution of our Auvers perfume.
MĀNUKA: An herbaceous and sweet flower, it adds a bit of fresh "greenery" and breadth to the floral notes.
Located just northwest of Paris, the city of Auvers-sur-Oise (pronounced oh-vare-sir-wahz) is most well known as the final home of Vincent van Gogh. Although van Gogh’s presence there was brief, his last paintings honored the landscapes, people, and architecture of Auvers-sur-Oise. The Château d’Auvers pays tribute to the artist with over 20,000 bearded iris (the subject of some of van Gogh’s floral paintings) planted on the property, hosted art workshops, an immersive impressionism gallery, and more. With so much focus on van Gogh, we thought it was important to focus on the colors and aromas of iris and create a velvety, spring floral fragrance that has an air of impressionism.
By immersing ourselves in the formal gardens of Auvers, we designed a complex scent using plant-based essential oils and compounds that includes French sweet vernalgrass, French iris, and New Zealand mānuka to evoke the smells of the floral borders of bearded iris and clematis, the flow of water over the fountains and sculptures, and the intricacies of the embroidery parterres.

The Auvers eau de parfum is made in a base of USDA certified organic grain alcohol as well as a complex blend of plant-based botanical oils that includes French sweet vernalgrass, French iris, and New Zealand mānuka. Each small batch of eau de parfum is cured for around 3 months so you get the strongest and freshest sensations possible.
All of our botanical perfumes, regardless of their format, are meticulously crafted exclusively from natural ingredients. As a result, they exhibit a distinct difference from the customary endurance of synthetic perfumes. Rather than filling the surrounding space with their aroma, our perfumes are designed to envelop and enhance the essence of the wearer and those in close proximity. Their longevity, spanning approximately 2 to 6 hours (sometimes more), is subject to an individual's unique body chemistry—although we commit ourselves to a minimum of 3 hours for a perfume formula, from the initial fragrance unveiling to the lingering traces of base notes on the skin.
In a departure from conventional perfumery, our creations are artfully constructed to undergo a metamorphosis over time. Unlike traditional fragrances that maintain a static olfactory profile, our perfumes evolve and transform, much like the gardens from which we’ve drawn inspiration. Suggested Use: On moisturized skin, spritz on pulse points with desired amount of perfume and allow to air dry.* Reapply as desired.
